As part of the Department of Labor’s technology modernization efforts, the Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) will fully decommission the legacy Permanent Online System on December 1, 2024. This system, which has been used for public access to permanent labor certification applications and final determinations, will be replaced by the new Foreign Labor Application Gateway (FLAG) System.
The FLAG System is designed to enhance customer service and modernize the administration of foreign labor certification programs.
Key Dates to Remember:
By November 30, 2024, 7 PM EST: Stakeholders should access and download any necessary documents from their Permanent Online System accounts. Any specific actions on pending applications, such as requests for reconsideration or withdrawals, must be completed by this time.
Starting December 1, 2024: The Permanent Online System will no longer be accessible. Stakeholders needing to submit documents or request case actions for applications still pending in the old system will need to do so via email to the PLC Help Desk at PLC.Help@dol.gov. Ensure that documents are in PDF format and properly named with the case number and title of the attachment.
After December 1, 2024, please continue to monitor your email for any updates or notifications regarding pending applications.
Make sure to take action ahead of these deadlines to ensure a smooth transition!
